Boykin Management Company Announces the Appointment
of Tory Waterman to the position of Senior
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Cleveland, Ohio, September 14, 2004—Boykin Management Company announces the appointment of Tory
Waterman to the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at its corporate office in
Cleveland, Ohio.
Mr. Waterman joins the Boykin Management Company team with 20 years of experience in the resort, hotel
and travel industries, bringing a wealth of experience. Tory recently held the position of Senior
Vice President and Controller for 37 managed properties of Crestline Hotels and Resorts in McLean,
Virginia. He has held various accounting positions with Holiday Inn Corporation, Hilton Hotel
Corporation, Mariner Hotel Corporation and Interstate Hotels. During his seven and one half year
tenure with Interstate Hotels, Waterman held property Controller positions at six different properties
across the United States. In 1995, Mr. Waterman joined the Stormont Trice Corporation as Corporate
Controller and held that position until the company merged with Durbin Hotels in March 2000 to form
the current Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc.
Tory is a graduate of the State University of New York, College at Plattsburg, holding a Bachelors
Degree in Business/Management Science, and will be a value added addition to Boykin Management
Company.
