Boykin Management Company Selected to
Manage The Hilton Austin Airport
Cleveland, Ohio, February 23, 2004Boykin Management Company, one of the industrys leading
independent management companies, has announced it has been named to manage the Hilton Austin Airport
Hotel in Austin, Texas for Landmark Hospitality, L.P., a division of FaulknerUSA. We are delighted
to be partnering with FaulknerUSA and the City of Austin in making the Hilton a more important asset
to ownership, and the Austin community. We expect our expertise in sales and revenue management, and
advantages in terms of operating systems and purchasing programs, will yield immediate and long-

The 262-room Hilton Austin Airport Hotel, owned by Austin Landhost Enterprises, opened in early 2001. The building originally operated as the headquarters for Bergstrom Air Force Base. FaulknerUSA, contracted by the City of Austin to renovate the hotel won the Texas Construction Magazine Best of 2001 award in the category of Outstanding Renovation/Restoration project for the hotel. Due to its unique design and development the property was ranked tenth in service for 2003, positioning in the top 6% of all Franchise Full Service Hilton Hotels nationwide.
The hotel has all the amenities of a full service hotel including an outdoor pool, state of the art
fitness facility, two jogging and walking trails, a 24 hour business center, gift shop, and The Creeks casual dining room. The guest rooms feature an array of amenities designed for the business traveler such as; ergonomic work stations, high-speed Internet access, and telephones equipped with two lines and speakerphone.
The Hilton Austin Airport Hotel offers 20,000 square feet of state of the art meeting space in 18
separate meeting rooms. This banquet and meeting space includes a 7,000 square foot grand ballroom,
meeting rooms, executive boardrooms, and hospitality suites. The design and high quality nature of
the hotels meeting space makes it an ideal candidate for an IACC ancillary conference center. We
will be working to open a new conference center at the property by mid 2004, added Mr. Smith.
