Cleveland, OH February 13, 2004—Boykin Management Company, one of the industry’s leading independent hotel management companies, announces the appointment of Mark Davis as General Manager at the Hilton Austin Airport Hotel. The Hilton Austin Airport is the newest addition to the Boykin managed portfolio of hotels and resorts.

Mr. Davis joins the Boykin Management Company team with ten years of experience working at hotels which operate under the Hilton and Intercontinental Hotel brands and 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur. Mark recently relocated to Austin from Oklahoma City, where he held the position of General Manager at the Hilton Northwest. Mr. Davis brings 30 years of hospitality experience to the Hilton Austin Airport with a commitment to deliver excellence in hospitality with an entrepreneurial approach to daily management.

Mark is a Certified Hotel Administrator, Certified Food and Beverage Executive and has attended various workshops in hospitality management: revenue management, master connection team building and coaching and discipline skills for managers through the American Hotel and Motel Association. “Mr. Davis is a proven leader in hotel management with a progressive track record of success and will be a valuable addition to Boykin Management Company and the Hilton Austin Airport” commented Joseph Smith, Executive Vice President of Boykin Management Company.

In early 2001 the Hilton Austin Airport opened as a first class hotel on the grounds of the Austin Bergstrom International Airport, a former administration building and officer’s headquarters of the Bergstrom Air Force Base.
