Qudrat as Director of Sales to the Cleveland Airport Marriott Hotel
Cleveland, Ohio, February 3, 2004Boykin Management Company announces the appointment of Asil
Qudrat as Director of Sales at their Cleveland Airport Marriott Hotel. Boykin has managed the hotel
for over 30 years after developing the 371-room property in 1970.
Mr. Qudrat joins the Boykin Management Company team with 10 years of experience working at hotels
which operate under the Marriott International and Starwood Hotels brands. Asil recently relocated
to Medina from Chicago, where he held the position of Area Director of Sales for the three full
service Chicago Marriott Hotels: OakBrook Marriott, Downers Grove Marriott Suites and the OakBrook
Renaissance Hotel.
Mr. Qudrat brings a wealth of experience from the Washington D.C. region, including his positions as
Director of Sales and Marketing at The Capitol Hill Suites and the Sheraton Premier Hotel.
Asil has attended workshops in revenue management training, team building, and criticism and
discipline skills for managers through the American Management Association. Mr. Qudrat speaks
multiple languages, is a graduate of California State University, and will be a value added and
respected addition to Boykin Management Company.
