Today, with a strong history of profitability and outstanding service as its foundation, BMC has operated under the Marriott, Doubletree,
Hilton, Crowne Plaza and Radisson affiliations among others. Operating without an affiliation is an experience BMC has

OVERVIEW
This program exposes participants to the hotel industry through a hands-on work experience. It is designed to supplement course work and to
further stimulate interest in a career in hotel and restaurant management. It is also designed to assess and identify potential management candidates
for future job placement with BMC. Our hotels recruit a large complement of interns who, by virtue of their "temporary"
status, help us meet our seasonal staffing needs. We welcome the energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism interns/co-ops bring.
THE WORK EXPERIENCE
Interns/co-ops are assigned to job classifications based on their background and experience, their personal interests, and the hotel's staffing requirements.
Hotel internship/co-op opportunities are available in Food & Beverage and/or the Rooms Division, with limited options for rotation in most other departments
including Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Engineering and Retail.
Culinary interns/co-ops rotate throughout all kitchen stations. The minimum duration of the Culinary Department internship-co-op program is twelve (12) weeks.
All interns/co-ops may be given a performance evaluation by the manager of the department to which they are assigned. Interns/co-ops have dotted-line
reporting responsibility to the Director of Human Resources.
THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Interns are given the opportunity to participate in our Management Orientation Program-an extensive management skills program and may at times,
attend various operations management, marketing, and staff meetings; participate in some in-house training programs and shadow managers and the hotel
Manager on Duty. Additionally, there is opportunity to cross-train based on business demands.
Other supplemental training activities may include classroom training sessions covering such topics as Financial Reporting, Associate Relations,
Budgeting and Hotel Safety Training.

BMC
- BMC's Vision & Values, Who we are, What we do...

ends the following Thursday at 12:00 midnight. The hotel operates twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. We schedule the working
hours of our team to ensure our guests receive the best service possible. Interns/co-ops pay varies according to current labor market demands for each hotel.
TIME FRAMES
Internship/co-op programs are a minimum of twelve (12) weeks and may extend up to a maximum of six (6) months. Internship/co-op programs
are typically available from Memorial Day to Labor Day or can be customized to take place year round for those students seeking Fall, Winter,
