Robert Boykin Chief Executive Officer
|
|
Robert is the Chief Executive Officer for BMC. His career has spanned property operations, corporate administration, real estate development and acquisitions since graduating from the University of Hartford in 1972, with degrees in Business Economics and Finance. Upon graduation Robert had many roles in operating hotels up to and including President of BMC. The company has operated over 80 hotels, with over 17,000 rooms. In 1996 The real estate activities of BMC were taken public in an IPO, led by Lehman Brothers, called Boykin Lodging, BOY:NYSE. The company focused on full-service hotels, resorts and conference centers. In 2006 the assets of Boykin Lodging were sold to a private equity firm and Robert returned to guide the activities of the BMC. Robert has served as past Vice Chair of MINA- The Marriott Full Service Franchise Owners Association, Robert is the Chairman of the Amazon Conservation Team and is active in The World's Presidents Organization and Chief Executives Organization. He is also a frequent speaker and panelist at industry lodging conferences.

Joe has been with Boykin Management Company for 19 years and held a
number of positions including Food and Beverage Director, General Manager of
three Marriott Hotels, Regional Vice President, Corporate Food and Beverage
Director and Senior Vice President of Asset Management. In his current
position, Joe is responsible for the day-to-day operations of BMC.
Joe and his team support the hotels and property general
managers at the corporate level. He also provides leadership and direction to
the various corporate disciplines including Sales and Marketing, Revenue
Management, Human Resources as well as Rooms, Food and Beverage Operations,
and Conference Center operations. Joe is the liaison with our Franchise
partners at Doubletree, Hilton, Marriott and other brands on operational
matters and is a member of the Condo Association Board for one of Boykin
’s Condo Hotel Operations. Joe’s prior experience includes
experience at American Airlines and TGI Fridays. Joe is a member of IACC
(International Association of Conference Centers) and a past member of HAMA
(Hotel Asset Managers Association). He is also a member of the Boykin
Executive Committee. Joe received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and
Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin.

John (Jack) Boykin Senior Vice President Food & Beverage
|
|
Jack has held many positions in the company, but his specialty has been in food and beverage operations, procurement and general hotel operations. Jack served in various food and beverage positions in the Company’s Marriott Hotels and has been on the corporate staff with responsibility for the company's total food and beverage operation. In 2006 the company's total F&B volume was in excess of $70 million dollars. Jack has led many successful conception programs and has driven many of the companies opening activities throughout the company's history.

Grant began his hospitality career in 1984 and joined BMC from McDonald Investments
where he served as a Managing Director in the Capital Markets/Real Estate Investment Banking Group.
Grant's responsibilities include new business development, structuring and negotiation of management contracts,
and client/owner relations. Grant is a member of the Boykin Executive Committee. While at McDonald, Grant
worked with public and private timeshare companies on capital raising activities and has a strong working
knowledge of timeshare and condo hotel operations. Grant obtained his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
with a major in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Michigan State University.

Gregory Smith Chief Financial Officer / Chief Administration Officer
|
|
Greg oversees all financial and accounting activities for BMC. Greg has over
30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and returned to Boykin in 2006 after 18 years with
Interstate Hotels, where he held various positions such as Corporate Controller, Vice President of
International Finance, and Regional Director of Finance. Greg brings with him an understanding of the
world hospitality market, gained while he was responsible for all aspects of accounting and finance
operations for Interstate's hotels in Moscow as well as other international developments. Greg
graduated from Gannon University with a degree in accounting.

Samuel Zabawsky Vice President of Sales and Revenue Management
|
|
Sam is responsible for sales, marketing and revenue maximization for BMC. Sam joined
Boykin after serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for Coral Hospitality where he had direct oversight
of the Sand Pearl Resort in Clearwater, FL. Sam's previous experience included senior sales and marketing
positions at the Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head, Wyndham International, Interstate Hotels Corporation, Belz
Enterprises and The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA. While at Wyndham, Sam served as Regional Vice President
with sales responsibility for the East Coast and Florida. He also supported the conversion of five Carefree
(Grand Bay Resorts) in the Western Group to Wyndham International. From 1982-1993, Sam held numerous sales
positions with Marriott International working at Marriott National Sales, Marriott Marco Island, the Richmond
Marriott and Twin Bridges Marriott in Washington, D.C. Sam holds a bachelor's degree with a major in
Marketing from the University of Houston.

Michelle Alquiza Corporate Director of Human Resources
|

Michelle is responsible for the overall Human Resources operations for BMC. With over 15 years of hotel operations and human resources experience, Michelle has leadership responsibility for administering and maintaining organization design, management development, staffing, compensation and benefits, labor and employee relations, employee communications, training and recruitment. Michelle’s previous experience included senior human resources positions at the Omni Charlotte Hotel, Hilton Charlotte Center City, Wyndham Wind Watch Hotel & Hamlet Golf Club, The Melrose Hotel, Huntington Hills Center, Trump International Hotel & Tower and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in New York, NY. Michelle received her degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the City College of San Francisco.

Michael Morton Senior Vice President of Operations

Michael has been involved in single property & corporate multi-hotel operations since 1985 working with such brands as Doubletree, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Hyatt & Marriott. He has a proven record of success as a results oriented leader, receiving many individual and brand accolades including the 1995 Food & Beverage Director of the Year from Holiday Inn Worldwide. Michael spent 10 years with BMC - initially at the property level in various operations positions and most recently as Corporate Regional Director of Operations. He rejoins the BMC team after a two year stint as Vice President of Operations for JHM Hotels, helping JHM incorporate into full service lodging, most recently opening the Charleston Marriott, overseeing the Orlando Airport Renaissance property renovation & helping the Greenville Marriott achieve the # 1 rank in Overall Guest Satisfaction within the Marriott brand.Michael received his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Management-Industrial Accounting from the University of Akron in 1985.

Kevin Hyland General Counsel

Kevin plays a significant role in BMC’s operations. His responsibilities include legal services for sales and marketing, operations, accounting and finance, business development and other functions as well as management of litigation, contract and regulatory activities. Prior to joining BMC, Mr. Hyland served as Corporate Counsel for Hyland Software Incorporated where he focused on corporate legal matters, contract drafting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, property insurance matters and corporate financing. Prior to that assignment, he was an attorney with Gallagher, Sharp, Fulton and Norman. Kevin received his undergraduate degree from Miami University and his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Kevin is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel as well as Urban Land Institute.

David Pickens Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis
|
|
David is responsible for maintaining BMC's current analytical tools including the back office accounting system and
for the development of new reporting tools. David also maintains the books and accounting records for numerous corporate
entities and has been instrumental in the annual corporate accounting and tax compliance audits. David has been in the
accounting discipline of the hospitality industry for over 28 years and has held positions as both a regional and an
area controller over both full-service and limited-service hotel properties respectively. In addition, David is
responsible for overseeing the property controllers and all related accounting functions for BMC. David spent several
years with both Hilton Hotels Corporation and Interstate Hotels Corporation where he held controllership positions at
numerous properties including resorts, downtown convention properties, and suburban locations. David received his
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of South Carolina.

Tom Holman Corporate Director of Engineering
|
|
Tom provides leadership and support to the property-level engineering departments, including oversight of compliance
to all Engineering related SOP’s, review of annual R&M budgets, safety and OSHA guidelines and condition of each
property as related to capital recommendations. Tom has over 30 years industry experience and prior to his
joining BMC, Tom held positions as Director of Engineering Services for the Omni Charlotte Hotel, Director of
Maintenance and Grounds at the Osthoff Condominium Resort and Stationary Engineer for the 444 plaza, the
Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel and Hyatt Regency Oakland.
