Richard is responsible for providing the leadership necessary to position Boykin Management Company at the forefront of the hospitality industry. His responsibilities include the development of a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization. He oversees company operations to insure quality, service and cost-effective management of resources.
Richard has over 25 years of combined executive-level experience in hospitality, construction, real estate development, property management and banking. Richard earned a BBA from Ohio University and an MBA from Cleveland State University, and holds a CPA designation from the State of Ohio.
Kevin plays a significant role in Boykin Management Company's operations. His responsibilities include new business development, structuring and negotiation of management contracts, acquisition and investment opportunities, legal services for sales and marketing, operations, accounting and finance and other functions, as well as management of litigation, contract and regulatory activities.
Prior to joining BMC, Kevin served as Corporate Counsel for Hyland Software, Inc., where he focused on corporate legal matters, contract drafting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, property insurance matters and corporate financing. Prior to that assignment, he was an attorney with Gallagher, Sharp, Fulton and Norman.
Kevin earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University and his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Urban Land Institute.
Paula is an independent design professional who has partnered with Boykin Management Company on numerous occasions. Her comprehensive management practice and technical skills assure compliance with vigorous scheduling and budgetary requirements, allowing for a cost-competitive design team to insure her clients' complete satisfaction and a flawless design package.
The author of several books on hotel guestroom design and chiropractic office design, Paula recently merged her almost three-decade old national design firm, Spectrum Design Services, with MBI-K2M Architecture. Their offices now include Cleveland, Ohio, Huntersville, North Carolina; and Key West, Florida.
Paula graduated from Ursuline College with a degree in interior design and is the recipient of numerous national interior design awards.
